Walk-In Support Services
Recovery Meetings -This group will participate in open discussion on recovery related topics. Alcoholic’s
Anonymous, Thursday at 10 a.m., Recovery Support Wednesday’s and Friday’s at 4 P.M. Narcotics Anonymous, Monday
at 4 p.m., SMART Recovery, Tuesday at 2 p.m., Al-Anon, Tuesday at 12 p.m.
Peer to Peer Recovery Support Group—Open discussion support group about all the issues related to recovery from drugs and alcohol.
Facilitated by a certified Recovery Support Specialist. Wednesday 4 p.m.
WRAP (Wellness Recovery Action Plan) Group – This group focuses on developing a “tool box” to use in maintaining a daily recovery
principals. This group is facilitated by a Recovery Support Specialist. Friday at 4: p.m.
Peer to Peer Services, Mentoring, Coaching – These
services focus on wellness rather than on illness. It offers monitoring and peer to peer recovery
support by a trained Recovery Support Specialist who has experience with addiction and recovery. Recovery
support includes resources, relationships,12 step worksheets and services designed to assist individual’s integration
into the community and improve functioning or recovery.
Clothing Giveaway – T.Y.L.A. assists clients with three (3) sets of clothing up to 16 clients a month with appointment.
Clients are also given panties, bras, socks, and hygiene products. This program is only available
to clients in a treatment facility or transitional living environment. Clients will need to provide a letter
from the referring agency, as well as a state issued ID card. Please call to schedule an appointment.
No walk-ins.
Walk In Services – Clients may
call or come in (by appointment) T.Y.L.A. provides recovery support, help create resume’s, assist with job search. We
have an extensive list of companies that will hire with felonies. Provide resources for various community
services and more. There is always a staff member available during hours of operation
SMART Recovery – Recovery support group. This group will participate in
open discussion on recovery related topics targeting self-help and behavior modification. Workbooks are available to clients
for a small fee. Tuesdays 2 p.m.
Employment Services and Job Training - Services are directed toward improving and maintaining employment. They include
skills assessment and development, career exploration or placement, resume writing, interviewing skills and job referral.
May include short term job training .
Community Service –
Community service hours (not adult probation approved) can
be served at T.Y.L.A. All hours are documented and reported to the appropriate parties.
Arbor – T.Y.L.A. partners with Arbor Education and Training services through the DES-Jobs Program
to assist those on public assistance in achieving self-sufficiency. This program places Jobs Program customer into unpaid
work assignments to gain experience.
Angel of Assistance – This
program is sponsored by T.Y.L.A., Inc., and assist men and women who are experiencing an immediate financial needs, such as
bus passes, obtaining birth certificate, ID or drivers license, 12 step books, and miscellaneous needs. Our agency has a total
allocated budget of $225.00 a month to people in crisis.
Homeless Court -
This is a program through Tucson City Court which helps individuals regain their driving privileges and lowers outstanding
fine amounts, but having them perform community service hours, enroll in treatment programs, and attend support meetings.
T.Y.L.A. represents these individuals in court and helps them find the resources needed to comply with the court requirements.
